Authorities say a Madison County high school is secure and will be open for classes today after a potential threat led to its evacuation.  The Madison County Sheriff’s Department investigated a "potential threat" at Triad High School Wednesday afternoon.  Students were evacuated from the Troy school around 1:15 in the afternoon and stayed outside until dismissal an hour later.

Authorities aren’t describing the threat but say that school will be open today for the start of final exams.   The school serves about 12-hundred students in central Madison County.
