Former Illinois Governor George Ryan is set to be released from federal prison at the end of the month. The "Chicago Sun-Times" reports that Ryan will be released to a halfway house on January 30th after spending five years in jail for corruption. Ryan was convicted in 2006 on charges of racketeering, fraud and other offenses.
