A run-off election will be held to fill the vacancies for Madison County Third Judicial Circuit Associate Judge.  The five judges who held the seats were not retained when circuit judges voted in June, and a most recent election for new associate judges did not provide a majority for five candidates.

Eleven names will be on the next ballot, including three of the associate judges who were recently removed, Elizabeth Levy, Donald Flack and Ben Beyers II.  Also on the ballot are Christopher Bauer, Rodney Caffey, Luther Simmons, Timothy Berkley, Allyson Romani, Sarah Smith, Jennifer Hightower and Maureen Schuette.  Ballots will be mailed to the circuit judges who will have two weeks to vote.  The five candidates will the most votes will be named to the seats.  In the event of a tie, there will be another run-off between those candidates.
