Roxana High School will rededicate its auditorium this evening in the name of a longtime drama instructor at the school. A brand new sign will hang above the entrance to The Birdine M. Groshong Auditorium, and the theater department will recognize her family that will be in attendance at this evenings show.
Groshong’s favorite play was Arsenic and Old Lace, which is on stage at Roxana High tonight at 7:00 and again tomorrow at 2pm. Debbie Bacus is co-director of the show and says after recent renovations the old sign honoring Birdine was not initially replaced:

Former members of Roxana High School Thespian Troupe #556 are invited to a pre-show reception this evening starting at 6pm. There will be light refreshments and tours of the stage before the show, and members will get free admission. Otherwise, tickets for the show are $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.
