Andria and Brittany Pace of Marquette High and Jasmine-Kay Johnson of Alton High School were honored as the Alton/Godfrey Rotary Club Students of The Month for March. The students were honored at the club's March meeting at the Banquet Center of Alton Sports Tap. This is the 19th year for the program and 335 students have received the honor so far.

Johnson is an Illinois State scholar, a member of the National Honor Society, and has been on the National Honor Roll for four years. She is also a member of the Student Council and the Principal's Advisory Committee. Andria and Brittany Pace are twin sisters and are both Illinois State Scholars, members of the National Honors Society, Silver Medallion Recipients, and are both recipients of the Presidential Service Awards for three consecutive years for community service. The Pace sisters are also both student athletes at Marquette. Students selected for this honor are not only recognized at the monthly meeting of the club but are also eligible to compete for a $6000 scholarship that will be presented to one of the Students of the Month for the current school year.
