The Alton-Godfrey Rotary Club dates back to 1921, but this is only the third year they have presented a Christmas Concert to raise funds for the organization.  A number of local choirs will perform.   It is being held at the Ann Whitney Olin Theater in Hatheway Hall at Lewis & Clark Community College on Sunday, December 14th at 3pm.

Dr. Robert Hamilton, concert chairman of the Alton-Godfrey Rotary Club, says proceeds will go toward the organization's scholarship fund.

Hamilton says the scholarship program is in its 17th year, and some of the first recipients have returned to the Alton-Godfrey area and have become active in Rotary.  The concert is being held Sunday December 15 at 3pm, doors open at 2:30.  Tickets are $10 each, and available from Rotary members, Norton-Rain Insurance, Scheffel Boyle, here at The Big Z, and will be available at the door.
