Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is cruising after a big win in the Illinois primary.  The former Massachusetts governor will increase his substantial delegate lead over rival Rick Santorum.  Santorum, a former Pennsylvania senator, finished second in Illinois.

Former GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Texas Congressman Ron Paul did not fare well in the Illinois contest.  Addressing supporters, Romney called his campaign's impressive performance an "extraordinary victory."

Romney - 47%

Santorum - 35%

Paul - 9%

Gingrich - 8%
