The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and The Rivers Project Office will be hosting river pool management presentations and an open house on Thursday. From 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the National Great Rivers Museum in East Alton you can hear Joan Stemler, Chief of Water Control Operations for the St. Louis District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, discuss Mississippi River pool management, river issues, current projects and plans for the future. There is no charge to attend and reservations are not required.
