The 5th annual Riverbend Earth Day event is Saturday, and the final preparations are being made to Piasa Harbor, which is hosting the event again this year. There will be live music, yoga, paddling, fishing, and hikes along the trails.

The Nature Institute is partnering with the Sierra Club, Great Rivers Land Trust, The National Great Rivers Research and Education Center and the Alton Regional Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. The event runs from noon-6pm. For more information, call 466-9930.
