A proposed bill making its way through Springfield would force Illinois restaurants to clean their play areas at least once a day.  An Illinois House Committee approved the measure this week, targeting mostly fast food restaurants that house the play lands.

Supporters feel this law is necessary to help protect children and parents from getting sick because they believe the play areas harbor germs.  The bill will now be considered by the full Illinois House.
