The annual Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes hosted by the American Diabetes Association is less two months away and organizers want you to know there is still time to register if you’d like to participate.
You can sign up in advance and raise money towards a number of prizes or you can show up the day of and participate for free according to Rawnie Berry, the Manager of the Metro East Division of the American Diabetes Association.
She says there are a number of ways you can participate.

Rawnie says they hope to raise at least $115,000 during this year’s event. Any money raised will go to support educational programs and research in the Riverbend region. This year’s Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes will take place in Parking Lot A at SIUE on October 4th.
