A pair of non-binding referendums will be on the ballot in Madison County this fall.  When you cast your vote for president, you will also be asked a pair of questions the Madison County Board Chairman feels could have an impact on the property taxes you pay.

The other question asks the state to fund education at at least 50%.  He says the state constitution says the state should be the primary funding source for education in Illinois, but the state is only paying about 28% currently.
