Madison County States Attorney Tom Gibbons has announced that he will sponsor an Anti-Drug Poster Contest in honor of this year's Red Ribbon Week, which started Friday and runs through the 31st. Madison County students in 3rd-5th grade are encouraged to submit posters conveying this year's theme. State's Attorney Gibbons tells The Big Z what that theme is this time around.

One winner from each grade will be chosen by a committee within the State's Attorney's Office. Along with having their poster displayed, the winners will also receive a pizza party for their class delivered by the State's Attorney himself. The Red Ribbon campaign started in support of a murdered DEA agent who was killed in 1985 by drug traffickers.
