The local Salvation Army's Tree of Lights campaign kicks off in a little more than a week, and the organization is still looking for more help to ring bells this holiday season. They are hoping to have an all-volunteer team of bell ringers again this year, as paying some of their bell ringers has cost them upwards of $20,000 in the past.
Alton Salvation Army Lieutenant Teri Ellison says they are looking for volunteers for this year’s campaign.
