The area flooding has many Illinoisans needing the services of the American Red Cross. The St. Louis chapter has provided almost 700 overnight shelter stays, and provided almost 2300 meals and snacks to local residents.
Red Cross spokesman Peggy Barnhart tells The Big Z they are setting up points of distribution this week.
