The race for the Democratic nomination in Madison County's Recorder's Office is heating up.  Challenger Shannon Bradford is calling out incumbent Amy Meyer for allegedly working as an attorney while collecting a paycheck as an elected official.

Meyer tells The Big Z she has not practiced law since becoming recorder except for in a few isolated cases.

Bradford is a family law attorney at Bradford Law Offices in Edwardsville and is challenging Meyer in the March 15 Democratic Primary election.  Meyer won office in 2012 after defeating Republican Matt Rice.
