With the addition of new people in marketing positions at Senior Services Plus, executives hope to breathe new life into the 41-year-old organization.  Originally formed as Madison County Senior Citizens, the agency has been relocated, renamed, and seen numerous changes in its four decades of existence. 

Executive Director John Becker said Monday on Let's Talk on The Big Z, the Wellness Center is the focus of much of their efforts.

Currently, there are more than 53,000 seniors over the age of 60 living in Madison County.  In the U.S., 10,000 seniors will turn 65 every day until 2030, averaging over 80,000 in Madison County.  By 2030, seniors will live an average of 20 years longer.
