A long-time fixture in Riverbend law enforcement and social circles has been honored by an organization to which he dedicated much of his free time.  In a ceremony held last Saturday, the Alton – Godfrey Rotary Winter Lodge at Camp Warren Levis in Godfrey was re-dedicated in the name of Ray Botterbush.  Botterbush died in his sleep while on a scouting trip in Macoupin County in June of 2014.

Ray’s brother Kevin Botterbush tells The Big Z Ray would be pleased.

In fact, the next generation of the Botterbush family played a role in the ceremony.  Kevin’s sons KJ and Jonathan served as the color guard for the ceremonies.
