Governor Quinn signed two bills Monday aimed at fighting gang crimes. One bill, effective immediately, helps protect witnesses to gang crimes from retaliation. It also reimburses counties that help victims and witnesses by providing temporary moving and living expenses. State Senator Patricia Van Pelt says the bill helps get to the root of the problem.
