Quinn says Illinois should be a welcoming place for everyone and says this month and next month are a “moment in history” where lawmakers can accomplish “great reforms that will last for generations.” Quinn’s comments come a day after State Rep. Ed Sullivan Jr. (R-Mundelein) announced his support of gay marriage. He’s the second House Republican to announce support for the bill.
