Madison County Treasurer Kurt Prenzler says local taxing districts will receive about $90-million in real estate taxes this month. With the four-payment plan, the period following the first due date usually produces the largest dollar amount, which is then turned around and distributed to more than 200 school districts, municipalities and other taxing agencies.
