A veteran of the Madison County State's Attorney's office has been named First Assistant State's Attorney. Jennifer Vucich has been with the office since 1999 when she was hired as a law clerk while attending the St. Louis University School of Law. This is the first of several restructuring plans State's Attorney Tom Gibbons has for his office to ensure it functions efficiently and effectively.
Gibbons says Vucich (pictured) is a true asset to his team:
Vucich says she is humbled by the appointment and the praise.
In addition to her duties with the felony division, Vucich helps train new prosecutors, has been a board member with the Madison County Child Advocacy Center and was instrumental in implementing the Madison County Child Abduction Response team led by Sheriff Bob Hertz.
