The Nature Institute is hosting another of its popular "Prairie Walks" Tuesday on the North Side of Gordon Moore Park.  The walks give participants the chance for a guided tour through the restored natural area while identifying native plants, birds and insects.  Hikers are advised to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, binoculars, and a plant identification book id available.

The Nature Institute's Education Director Patti Brown says at 5pm on the nights of the walks, they also offer a short, hands-on class explaining how to start and maintain a prairie.

The walks are held every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30.  There is no cost to attend, and no need to RSVP.  Brown says parking is plentiful.
