Power has been restored to all of the Ameren Missouri customers who spent portions of the early morning without service. Ameren officials say the weather caused a circuit failure on a power pole in North St. Louis County, knocking out power for nearly 5,000 customers around 5:30 a.m.

Crews spent several hours on the scene working to reroute power and restored power to half of the customers affected just before 8 a.m. Service was restored to the remaning customers just after 10 a.m. this morning.
