A new poll shows that Gov. Pat Quinn faces a battle to win re-election. The survey by Public Policy Polling shows that Quinn has a 60-percent disapproval rating, though that is slightly better than it was a year ago. In the four-way race for the Republican nomination for governor, Bruce Rauner leads with 24-percent, followed by Bill Brady with 17-percent, Dan Rutherford with 14-percent and Kirk Dillard with ten-percent.
In one-on-one contests with Quinn, though, only Rutherford does better than the incumbent. Rutherford polls 41-percent to Quinn's 39-percent. Quinn tops Rauner 41-38-percent and ties with both Brady and Dillard.
