Checking local police reports provided this morning to Z-1570, Wood River Police were holding 25 year old Brandon Hausman of the 200 block of Norwood in East Alton for retail theft and damage to property.   Police in Wood River are also attempting to find at least three men they believe are responsible for several recent thefts of baby formula and Prilosec from the Walmart store.  The theft of the formula...about 40 cans...took place May 27.  The theft of the heartburn medication, Prilosec, occurred last Thursday.  Authorities believe the items are used in the drug trade, and believe the thefts are related and are examining surveillance video in an attempt to identify suspects.

Police in Alton arrested three people and charged with them with unlawful possession of fraudulent identification cards.  27 year old India Brown of East St. Louis, 26 year old Kevin Rucker and 19 year old Shawn Rucker of St. Louis.  

The Madison County Sheriff's Department reports the arrest of 18 year old Terisha Wallace of Collinsville for aggravated battery for allegedly hitting a 13 year old boy over the weekend in Maryville.

No one else new reported held during the other local checks earlier today.
