Checking local police reports provided this morning to Z-1570, an Alton man has been charged with selling drugs from his home on Alby Street 44 year old Michael A. Hayes of the 1700 block of Alby Street is charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, hydrocodone, which is a prescription pain killer. The Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois conducted the investigation that included two undercover drug purchases from the residence earlier this month. Police searched the home last Thursday and allegedly found the hydrocodone, marijuana, money, cell phones, and a handgun.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested 19 year old Graham Ladd of the 200 block of Albers in Bethalto for retail theft from the Wal-Mart store in Godfrey. Police say he attempted to steal car batteries from the location last weekend. 40 year old Trevor Bone of the 5100 block of Lakeview in Granite City, held for aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated domestic battery. Police say Bone got into an altercation with his wife and her teenage son and at one point fired a gun at the teen before police arrived. No one was injured and Bone was taken into custody.
