Animal Control officials are investigating an incident at Glazebrook Park in Godfrey on Sunday involving a monkey. The 5-A's Bark in the Park Festival was underway when a monkey apparently scratched, or bit, a 6 year old boy who was petting a dog. A woman reportedly brought her dog, and her pet monkey, to the event. No word on if any citations will be issued against the owner or why she brought a monkey to a dog event. Otherwise, the event went off with no other problems.
