The Madison County Sheriff's Department made a couple of marijuana-related arrests late this week. 25-year-old Patrick A. Flanagan of the 800 block of Herbert in Alton was arrested Thursday morning on Godfrey Road and charged with felony unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. Yesterday, 28-year-old Alisha E. Yotter of the first block of Ray Street in Cottage Hills was pulled over on Godfrey Road, and is now charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol and unlawful possession of cannabis.
Lodged this morning in the Alton Jail is 48-year-old Timothy R. Hobbs of the 3,800 block of Seminary for aggravated DUI, fleeing or attempting to elude, driving on a suspended license; 52-year-old Mildred M. Lanham of the 3,500 block of Oscar for domestic battery; 37-year-old Donald W. Steward of the 700 block of Central on a failure to appear warrant. There was no one new being held by East Alton or Wood River Police during our morning check.
