Police in Highland are investigating several reports of a man who approached three young teen girls this week, and believe the incidents are related to similar activity last year. Earlier this week, the girls reported seeing a man pull up in a truck and tried to get directions. Police have noted 5 incidents in Highland since last summer, and one in Alhambra.

This week, the male suspect approached two 13 year olds on Monday, and a 15 year old girl on Tuesday in Highland and asked for directions to the library. All were walking on sidewalks through town with the Monday incident on Washington and Tuesday on Pestalozzi Street. In the case on Tuesday he asked the girl to get into his vehicle, and she ran and told her parents. Authorities believe the same man has been approaching the girls since last June, and he is described as a white male, between 30-40 years old, with a brown goatee, and driving a dark green 90's model truck with a child's car seat inside. Anyone who spots the vehicle and suspect is asked to contact their local police.
