The annual "Point of Departure" event at the Lewis & Clark State Historic Site in Hartford continues today and tomorrow. Yesterday, more than 700 fourth graders took part in the seventh annual education day. Today is the beginning of two days of re-enactors performing marching drills, engaging in shooting demonstrations, and engaging in manual labor.

Site Manager Brad Winn says today only, the World Bird Sanctuary will offer live performances in the Interpretive Center theater tomorrow.
