The early spring weather brought many plants out of the ground early this year, and many gardeners got an early start on planting as well. With a cold snap this week, those plants may be in danger, but experts with the University of Illinois Extension Program Master Gardener's program say there are some things you can do to protect your tender vegetation.

This current cold snap is not expected to last an extended period, but temperatures are expected to dip into the 30's again tonight, so if you covered your plants last night, you will want to do that again this evening.
