Most people don't think of planning for bad weather when they head out to an outdoor fair, carnival, or concert.  But state officials say fun times can turn deadly when people don't know what to do in the event of an emergency.  They urge event organizers to make sure guests have access to emergency information, such as where to take cover if a severe storm hits.  

Illinois Emergency Management Agency Spokeswoman Patti Thompson says organizers of these events should always take weather into account, and make sure staff and guests know where to seek shelter if a storm hits.
