“I brought up the pension matter, the challenge, at the beginning of my speech … in the middle of my speech and at the end of my speech,” Quinn said. “I understand this is the foremost challenge that we have.” House Minority Leader Tom Cross (R-Oswego), Treasurer Dan Rutherford and Comptroller Judy Barr Topinka all said after the address that Quinn’s main focus must remain on pension reform.
