Bands, floats and the Budweiser Clydesdales will help welcome home Iraq War veterans. In what's being called an historic event, St. Louis is hosting the country's first parade for returning soldiers. It begins today at noon at Kiener Plaza.
Alton VFW Post 1308 will have a presence through District 12. Post Commander Harry Kortkamp says this parade will mean a lot to most veterans.
