The "Chicago Sun-Times" will soon begin charging viewers to its website. The move is modeled after the "New York Times," which now charges a monthly fee to customers who read its on-line newspaper. The "Chicago Sun-Times" said viewers will have access to 20 free articles each month and will be charged for anything beyond that.

The on-line subscriptions will cost six-99 every four weeks and unlike the "New York Times," will not include a print subscription.
