The owner of a Cottage Hills business is vowing to rebuild after a three alarm fire destroyed 140 Used Auto Sales Tuesday night. The fire started around 8:30pm, but the 911 call didn't come in until around 9, because the owner's brother Mike Francis was apparently trying to fight the flames himself. He wound up hospitalized with burns on his hands, face and shoulder, and is suffering from smoke inhalation.

Business owner Everett Francis says his brother is in intensive care, but should survive.

Francis comments

The structure is considered a total loss and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Francis says everything inside the building, including a car and over a half-million dollars in tools and equipment will have to be replaced.
