The Grafton City Council killed an ordinance put forth to ban all amplified outdoor music, and another to begin limiting the number of liquor licenses at last night's meeting.  By a 6-0 vote in each case, the ordinances were placed on file. A large crowd showed up to show their opposition to Grafton possibly banning outdoor music due to some recent complaints.

The venue was changed from City Hall to the Methodist church next door by Mayor Tom Thompson at the last minute due to how many people showed up.  Owner of Piasa Winery and Pub Bill Strang and part owner of The Loading Dock Ben Allen Hired Attorney Lee Barron to speak on the legalities of the 2 ordinances.

After the two ordinances were voted down, Grafton business owner Tammy Mosby began shouting that the city council opposes motorcyclists visiting the city. Eventually an officer approached her and she took her seat.
