Sandi Jackson may not have to serve out her full prison sentence. The “Chicago Sun-Times” is reporting that President Obama may be considering a pardon for the former Chicago alderwoman and wife of former Congressman Jesse Jackson, Junior. Sandi has been ordered to serve a year behind bars for tax evasion.
She’s supposed to start her time about a month after Jesse completes his sentence, which means she could go as early as February of 2016. The “Sun-Times” doesn’t provide a specific time period on when the pardon may come but if the President waits until his final days in office, Sandi will have completed almost her entire sentence.
