A Missouri Department of Transportation spokesperson says there are no plans right now to pump water in order to open up the lower lanes of U.S. 67 in West Alton.  The southbound lanes between the Clark and Lewis Bridges have been closed due to flooding for a week and-a-half, and it would appear that will remain the case for now.

MoDOT spokesman Shonda White tells The Big Z the closure will continue:

White says there are still no plans to re-route southbound traffic onto the northbound lanes, as the flooding extends further south past Highway 94 toward the Missouri River.
