There are no major flooding concerns worrying meteorologists at the local National Weather Service office.  Although parts of Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin are dealing with flood threats following heavy rains over the past week, the Riverbend should escape with only minor flooding.

Grafton and Alton are both expected to see crests in the minor flooding stage on Wednesday, October 5.  Grafton is predicted to crest at 20 feet, while in Alton the crest is predicted at 18.4 feet, which keeps the river well within its banks.
