There will be a new principal for Roxana High School next year. The School Board this month approved the hiring of Jason Dandurand, who is the current principal at Colombia High School. Dandurand replaces Tom Roth, who will take a job next school year in the Jersey School District.
Superintendent of Roxana school district, Debra Kreutztrager called Dandurand an ideal fit for the district. Dandurand was named the 2015 Secondary Principal of the Year by the Illinois Principal Association and has been principal at Columbia for four years. Prior to that, he served for 13 years at Alton High School.
