Something old is new again for the Illinois State Police. New cars are now sporting a new logo, with a star between the words state and police. It's reminiscent of a previous look, but economics also come into play. “We're seeing the efficiency of being able to put that sticker on one door and one door only,” says Trooper Mike Kindhart, a safety education public information officer assigned to the Pittsfield district.
