Smokey Joe’s Café is the longest running musical review on Broadway, and a local production is coming to Roxana next weekend. It will be used to raise funds for the Alton Youth Symphony. The play will hit the stage at the Nazarene Community Center in Roxana, also known as the "Old Roxana Theater," July 25-27.
Director Sue Mueller hopes this show will help them meet their financial needs. She says the show will feature songs by Lieber and Stoller many will remember.
