One of the final chances for public input is coming up as the Alton Regional Multimodal Transportation Center project continues to progress. Tomorrow’s public hearing will be to review and consider for approval a Development Area Plan for the Multimodal Transportation Center, the high-speed rail passenger terminal, and connecting road system.
Alton Development and Housing Director Greg Caffey tells The Big Z there have not been any major changes to the plan since the last public hearing about a year ago:

The installation of the water line extension from Oakwood to Golf Road was recently completed. The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow (Tues) at 6:30pm at Alton City Hall.
