A church in Medora needs your help to move to a new building in 2017. The current building was built in 1864 and has been modified several times. There is a homecoming planned for October 4th to celebrate the construction of the new building. Pastor at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Rob Cleeton tells The Big Z about the history of the church.

The homecoming to be held on October 4th will begin at 3:30 in the afternoon.  According to Cleeton there will be music, testimonies, and sharing God's vision for the future. There will also be a potluck dinner. Any and all are welcome but Cleeton does ask that you RSVP so that they can have enough food for those attending. You can RSVP by calling 729-3821. Cleeton says they are located right across the street from the Targhetta and Woolridge Funeral Home in Medora.
