The Madison County Health Department is wrapping up registration for its upcoming Medical Reserve Corps Training session.  The agency is hoping you will get trained to help out during times of emergency, whether the disaster is natural or man-made.

In a large scale disaster, department spokesman Amy Yeager tells The Big Z volunteers with a variety of skills may be needed to spring into action.

The county's Medical Reserve Corps holds periodic training sessions, and the next one is planned for September 26 at the Health Department in Wood River. The registration deadline is today, September 19.  For more information call 296-6096.
