A Moro man was awakened on Thursday by the Prize Patrol from Publishers Clearing House to tell him he had won money for life. 26 year old Michael Miller won the Forever Prize which means he will receive $5,000 a week for the rest of his life. Miller received his first check for $50,000 yesterday to cover the first ten weeks.
Miller was sleeping inside a home he shares with his sister and mother in the 300 block of Roosevelt Street when several members of the Prize Patrol arrived to surprise him with the oversized check, flowers and balloons. Miller was laid off recently from his job and entered the contest and also ordered a World War II magazine subscription. He won't have trouble paying for it, nor will his heirs. The forever prize will be passed on to his heirs when he dies and they will also receive $5,000 a week forever.
