More Kid'Cations have been added to the Alton Regional Convention and Visitor’s Bureau calendar.  Now in its second year, the mix of free and low-cost events around the area continues to grow.  Among the recent additions is an ice cream social fundraiser.

The ice cream social will be held at The Nature Institute in Godfrey.  TNI's Amy Curry tells The Big Z it will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, August 4, and for $5 you can have all of the frozen custard you can eat.

Other new additions to the Kid'Cation schedule include birding activities at the National Great Rivers Museum at the Mel Price Locks and Dam, and free bowling at Bowl Haven Lanes.  For a look at the full schedule, follow the link
