A Calhoun County man who was charged with felony drug charges in Normal in September of last year and Attempted Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse in Calhoun County in December has now been charged with three sex crimes in Dunklin County, Missouri. Investigators say 56-year-old Michael Dean of Kampsville drugged three young men on different occasions and had sex with them while they were unconscious. While the victims are all from Kampsville, the alleged crimes happened in Missouri.
Calhoun County Sheriff Bill Heffington told the Big Z at the time it was shortly after he was notified of an incident in Normal in which a man alleged Dean tried to drug and sexually assault him that he began an investigation locally.
